CONCAST

A Dubai based all Filipino hardcore underground band of “The Blacksheep production”, which perform and expresses music from aggressiveness to self-definition of things that surrounds everyday life. Concast is an abbreviation of “ Continues Catastrophe” and consisting of five people, with different field of personal work but in one line of music. Main influences comes from different genre such as hardcore, metal, trash to technical music.

The band was formed mid 2008, as two bands talk to create a collaborations (2 from Dangwa and 3 from Ditch), to introduce a new line of music on the scene. Concast music can be described as an outlet of inner thinking, hate, anger, pain and disappointments. Their music can be defined as hardcore to new metal, tunes that can speak the difference to others, mixed with strong approach of emotions through chords can be expected from the band’s music. Even with the hassles of organizing time on each member (2 members are working on a consulting firm, 2 in advertising and 1 accountant) still they manage to push their limits to compose their original songs, with respect and understanding to the group are the main frame of Concast.
